Following the successful launch of the Beyond the World Cup initiative, the Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM) is building strong momentum through strategic partnerships with Sport Life Ghana and TRiBE CultureFest. Together, these collaborators are shaping an ambitious lineup of high-impact events in the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup—designed to connect culture, football, and community on a global stage while unlocking new opportunities in business, tourism, and cultural exchange.

A cornerstone of this collaboration is the role of TRiBE CultureFest in leading the cultural programming of World Cup-themed activities. Plans are underway for a flagship cultural showcase at Sankofa Square, where audiences will experience an immersive celebration of Ghanaian heritage, creativity, and identity. Through a vibrant mix of music, visual arts, fashion, and traditional performances, the event will spotlight Ghana’s rich cultural landscape to an international audience—strengthening cultural ties and deepening global connections.

Leveraging the worldwide attention surrounding the World Cup, the initiative aims to drive investment into Ghanaian businesses, elevate cultural diplomacy, and cultivate long-term partnerships that extend well beyond the tournament itself.

Another exciting highlight is the “16 by 16” concept—an innovative nationwide series of World Cup watch parties hosted across all sixteen regions of Ghana. This initiative is designed to boost local tourism, energize communities, and stimulate economic activity at the grassroots level, ensuring that the impact of the World Cup is felt across the entire country.

As preparations continue to gain pace, stakeholders and partners are invited to be part of this transformative journey. With more updates to come in the weeks ahead, Beyond the World Cup remains committed to creating a lasting legacy—where sport, culture, and business come together to position Ghana on the world stage.
