The Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce was pleased to receive Nana Kyere Agyeman, Deputy Director of the Diaspora Affairs Office at the Presidency, for a productive engagement at our Secretariat yesterday. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the strategic pillars of the Diaspora Engagement Policy (DEP), which is designed to foster stronger collaboration between Ghana and its global diaspora toward advancing sustainable national development.
Discussions highlighted three core policy objectives: enhancing diaspora, homeland relations, strengthening institutional frameworks for diaspora driven resource mobilization, and improving the availability of timely and accurate diaspora data to support long term planning. We explored potential areas of collaboration aimed at promoting Ghana’s investment landscape and expanding opportunities for Ghanaians abroad.
The Chamber remains committed to supporting initiatives that deepen international partnerships, strengthen economic ties, and contribute to Ghana’s development agenda.
