The Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM) has successfully completed the first phase of its Osu Champions Initiative, a programme designed to empower vulnerable girls in the Osu community with practical skills for personal and economic advancement.
Implemented in collaboration with Africa Skills Hub, the training equipped participants with foundational knowledge in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital skills. Through interactive sessions and hands-on learning, the young women gained practical tools to support their future career paths, strengthen their confidence, and pursue their business aspirations.
This initiative forms part of CANCHAM’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to fostering inclusive development and creating opportunities for young women to achieve economic independence and long-term personal growth.
CANCHAM extends its sincere appreciation to the sponsors whose support made this first phase possible: Nyna Security Services Limited, RKM Ghana Limited, Riepco Ghana Limited, AD-Precision Limited, Blaynet Services Limited, and Mosphine Company Limited. Their contributions demonstrate a shared commitment to community development and youth empowerment.
As preparations begin for Phase Two, CANCHAM welcomes the continued support of its members and partners to expand the reach and impact of the programme. Together, we can help nurture the next generation of confident, skilled, and empowered leaders in our communities.
